who we are
Fashion Moving Forward has a combined 120 years of garment manufacturing experience. We have our own line of women's tops, dresses, active wear, and sleep wear. We make all patterns and samples in our NYC design room. We are proud to knit and print our own fabrics, and have a vast print library and print designer. Through our exclusive sourcing office in Guangzhou, China, we have a vertically integrated seamless supply chain.
James Pearlman leads the Fashion Moving Forward team with 37 years of experience in merchandising, sales, and manufacturing from Brooklyn to Bangkok. His versatility has always been a great value to the dozens of national retailers and catalogs he has serviced over the years.
All of my garments are specially developed, designed, and detailed in my studio in New York. As a third generation designer, I take pride in making beautiful, yet comfortable dresses, that every woman can wear, everyday, with confidence that she'll look and feel her best. I trust my customers will enjoy each of these dresses as much as I enjoyed making it for them!
